Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help with stocking and merchandising in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, teamwork, and maintaining store cleanliness. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods, with part-time scheduling often available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Keep store clean, restocked, and presentable (bathrooms, floors, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.
