Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to sell tobacco, lottery, and alcohol.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Present a well-groomed, professional image at all times.
• Greet and welcome all customers with a smile.
• Help customers locate product(s) and upsell related items.
• Record sales on cash register and handle payments with correct change.
• Follow all approved payment systems and transaction processes.
• Strictly follow state laws regarding lottery, alcohol and tobacco.
• Promote enrollment in Loyalty Programs (Plenti, BP, etc.).
• Observe property and report suspicious activity to the Manager on duty.
• Monitor gas pumps to prevent drive-off theft and report incidents.
• Stock coolers and shelves; maintain sanitary conditions
• Adhere to safety, security, and emergency protocols
• Report accidents or injuries to the Manager on duty
• Adhere to corporate policies and complete the Daily Shift Report
• Other duties as assigned
