Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
• Experience in retail customer service preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Present a well-groomed, professional image at all times.
• Greet and welcome customers with a smile.
• Help customers locate products and upsell related items.
• Record sales on cash register and provide correct change.
• Understand and follow all payment systems and transaction processes.
• Follow state laws on lottery, alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Promote enrollment in loyalty programs.
• Monitor store and report suspicious activity to management.
• Oversee gas pumps to prevent theft and report incidents.
• Report malfunctioning equipment to management.
• Stock shelves and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in food service areas.
• Participate in cleaning and safety practices.
• Follow security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Report customer accidents or injuries to management.
• Adhere to corporate policies and complete daily shift reports.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
