Job summary

Michaels in League City, TX is seeking a store associate to help customers, handle checkout, and assist with framing services. You will support in-store operations, stocking, and omnichannel processes, including BOPIS and SFS, while maintaining an inviting, well-stocked shopping environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adherence to company policies, with opportunities to learn framing and participate in store recovery activities.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and private label credit cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and general store recovery to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Support SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with policies.
