Job summary

Michaels Woodbury, NY is hiring for a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, manage returns, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS. The role involves standing for long periods and working nights/weekends.

Minimum age 16+ with benefits eligibility. As part of a collaborative retail team, you will help customers find products and provide solutions while maintaining store

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance; in-stock store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; promote positive image.
