Job summary

Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Customer Experience Associate for our Mansfield, NJ location. You will greet customers, answer questions and resolve concerns in a polite, professional manner while supporting efficient checkouts.

You will operate the front-end scanner and cash register, maintain accurate transactions, follow tobacco and alcohol guidelines, stay updated on weekly promotions, keep the department clean, and collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth store operations.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; no prior experience required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate at the front-end and handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions and resolve concerns in a polite, professional manner.
• Operate front-end scanning equipment and cash register; bag merchandise efficiently and help cart customers' items.
• Ensure accurate transactions and cash handling; follow tobacco and alcohol sale guidelines.
• Stay informed on weekly ads and promotions to assist customers effectively.
• Maintain department sanitation and comply with health/OSHA guidelines; keep areas clean and organized.
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department and store operations.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
