Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns in a friendly, professional manner. You will operate the front-end scanning equipment and cash register, ensuring accurate transactions and proper bagging of merchandise.

The role requires strict adherence to cash handling procedures, store policies on tobacco and alcohol, and PPE usage. If needed, you may assist in other departments and support a cooperative team environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or currently pursuing.
• Experience not required, on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and resolve questions or concerns professionally.
• Operate cash register and scanning equipment; bag and handle transactions accurately.
• Ensure proper cash handling and adherence to store policies on tobacco/alcohol sales.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads and promotions; assist customers with store layout questions.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the department per schedules and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to keep department functioning smoothly.
• Use PPE provided by the company correctly.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
