Job summary

Weis Markets, at 3440 Grandview Drive, is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to greet customers and assist with questions and concerns in a courteous, professional manner.

You will operate front-end scanning equipment and cash registers, manage bagging and transactions, and ensure compliance with tobacco/alcohol sale rules while maintaining a clean, safe store environment. Team collaboration and adaptability are expected.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED. No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions, and helps resolve concerns promptly in a polite, professional manner.
• Operates front-end scanning equipment and cash register; bags merchandise and assists customers.
• Maintains transaction accuracy and proper payment handling, following tobacco/alcohol sale guidelines.
• Keeps knowledge of weekly ads and promotions to answer customer questions.
• Maintains department sanitation and cleanliness per schedules and OSHA requirements.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth department operation.
• Uses Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
