Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a friendly Customer Service Associate for our Lancaster, PA store to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help maintain a secure, well-stocked, and clean store environment.

This part-time position requires reliable cash handling, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. You’ll contribute to a safe, respectful atmosphere and support teamwork at every shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and teammates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
