Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, protect cash and assets, and help with stocking and merchandising.

The role requires strong customer service, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stay on your feet. Part-time, on-site position in Leechburg, PA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing and walking.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and support unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness and a safe, respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
