Family Dollar Stores Of Tennessee LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions, and maintain store presentation and safety.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, cash handling, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with an opportunity to contribute to stock replenishment and store operations in a part-time capacity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep the store clean, restocked, and presentable (bathrooms, floors, trash, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.
