Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Tennessee LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and protect company assets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stock replenishment, and maintaining clean, organized store areas. This is a part-time on-site position at our Jamestown, TN location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions for customers and team.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and waste management.
• Other duties as assigned.
