Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Tennessee LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for customers. You will assist customers, process transactions, and keep shelves stocked while unloading shipments and replenishing stock.

You’ll maintain a clean, safe store environment and provide friendly, professional service. Strong communication and reliability are valued in this retail role, including lifting up to 50 lbs and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
