Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and maintain a professional, friendly demeanor with customers and coworkers. Part-time schedule with responsibilities across store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and endure frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading and stock replenishment.
• Foster a positive, safe and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors and trash removal.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
