Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload deliveries, and keep the store clean and welcoming. This part-time role supports daytime shifts with opportunities to grow within the team.

The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and friendly interactions with customers and leadership, with flexible weekend availability and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned
