Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the cash register, and help maintain store appearance and safety.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs while assisting with stocking and merchandise replenishment. Part-time opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Lift 30–50 lbs and regularly walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and lift.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and merchandise replenishment.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
