Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience and assist customers with questions and recommendations.

You will process transactions at the register, keep the store stocked, and help with unloading trucks and merchandise replenishment while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
