Job summary

Dollar Tree in Parma is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, run the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean while maintaining safety and professional interactions.

The role requires good communication, organizational skills, and the ability to lift 30-50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; the position offers benefits and opportunities for growth as part of a diverse team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
