Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our Canton, IL store. You will help customers, handle transactions, and keep the store organized and safe.

You will stock shelves, unload merchandise, maintain cleanliness, and provide friendly, professional service to customers and team members. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred; ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• Experience in retail or similar service environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Keep store clean and presentable; restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
