Job summary

Family Dollar in Shelby, Ohio is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, and manage sales transactions at the cash register.

Responsibilities include keeping the store stocked, assisting with unloading trucks, stocking replenishment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and friendly environment for customers and fellow associates.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail or similar settings.
• Ability to follow instructions and operate processes.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks for stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
