Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC in Rural Hall, NC is seeking a part-time retail associate to assist customers, operate the register, and help stock and merchandise throughout the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks for stock replenishment.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
