Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of North Carolina LLC seeks a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, maintain cash security, stock merchandise, and keep the store clean and inviting.

The role requires strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Flexible part-time hours in Salisbury, NC with opportunities to develop skills and grow within a friendly retail team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store customer service experience highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and litter removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
