Job summary

Family Dollar in Weatherford, TX is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide friendly, helpful service at the register and on the floor.

You will assist customers, handle transactions, keep shelves stocked, unload shipments, and maintain a clean, safe store environment while following store procedures. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience in a related setting preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and general presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
