Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate for our HomeGoods store. You will deliver a highly satisfying customer experience, engage customers, and maintain a clean, organized store environment.

You may be cross-trained to support multiple areas and assist in loss prevention and merchandising standards. Responsibilities include processing transactions, promoting programs, and upholding safety and labor policies while contributing to a positive store culture and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows procedures.
• Prepares merchandise for the sales floor following procedures.
• Participates in store recovery and maintains store cleanliness.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports shrink reduction programs and safety awareness.
• Other duties as assigned.
