Job summary

Michaels store in Queens, Forest Hills, NY is seeking a Store Associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, and ensure a fast and friendly checkout. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.

You will engage customers with our Rewards program, support omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), and adhere to SOPs while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
• Assist with Omni channel processes: BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties
• Maintain stock and complete returns and store recovery
• Execute Store In Stock Optimization and AD sets as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Follow SOPs and company policies; promote the organization’s vision
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
