Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, process sales at the cash register, and keep the store clean and well-stocked.

This part-time role requires strong communication, the ability to stand and lift, and a commitment to friendly, professional interactions with customers and team members. Training is provided, and valuable perks accompany employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle active store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
