Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, manage stock, and maintain store cleanliness and safety.

The role involves unloading trucks, stocking, and providing friendly service in a fast-paced retail setting. Experience in retail or customer service is preferred, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment and professional interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Keep the store clean, restocked, and presentable.
