Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC, a retailer known for accessible everyday low prices, is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Seat Pleasant location. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires excellent communication, reliability, and a willingness to help shoppers with questions and recommendations while upholding company policies. This is a part-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment and professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
