Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Orange City, FL is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide friendly, efficient service at the register and on the sales floor. You will assist customers, stock shelves, and help unload trucks while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to excellent customer care in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment per standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
