Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring a retail associate to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, processing transactions, and keeping a clean store. You may be cross-trained to support multiple areas and contribute to loss prevention and operating standards.

Qualifications

• Able to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising standards and follows procedures.
• Prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company standards.
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety on the sales floor and store-wide.
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
