Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate for our New Bedford store. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and welcoming.

You will unload trucks, replenish shelves, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and teammates. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are important, with the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service, relationship management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Stock and replenish merchandise; unload trucks as needed.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including restrooms.
• Provide friendly, professional interactions with customers and colleagues.
