Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Massachusetts is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations while handling sales transactions at the register and ensuring cash is secure.

You’ll keep the store stocked and clean, help unload trucks, and maintain a safe, friendly environment with professional interactions. This role offers part-time hours and opportunities to grow within a national retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms and floors, and ensure all areas are presentable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
