Family Dollar in Selma, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions at the register, and help with stocking and unloading goods. This role emphasizes accurate cash handling, maintaining store cleanliness, and delivering helpful, respectful service.

A high school diploma is preferred, and prior retail or service experience is valued. This is a part-time position based in our local store.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.

• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and general store areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
