Job summary

Family Dollar in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming. You will assist with unloading merchandise, protect cash assets, and provide friendly, accurate service while maintaining safety and efficiency throughout the shift.

The role requires lifting 30–50 lbs, standing and walking for long periods, and delivering strong teamwork and communication across the store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk frequently.
• Strong customer service and relationship skills.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while operating a cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
