Job summary

Family Dollar in Mamers, North Carolina is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, process sales at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

This part-time role requires good communication, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and a willingness to follow instructions. Prior customer service experience is preferred, and the company offers benefits such as an Employee Assistance Program and retirement

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentable areas
• Other duties as assigned
