Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions, and help maintain store cleanliness.

The role requires strong customer service, organization, and communication skills, with physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and participate in stock replenishment. Part-time position based in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors and waste management.
• Other duties as assigned*.
