Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Daphne, Alabama is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to operate the front-end and switch to front-end duties as needed.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking, maintaining cleanliness, handling transactions, and safeguarding assets. This role emphasizes customer service excellence and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and trash areas.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
