Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or similar field leadership role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong knowledge of jobsite safety practices, building codes, inspections, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for retail construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to keep projects on schedule and aligned with budget expectations.
• Coordinate project communication between field teams, project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Monitor workmanship, site safety, code compliance, project milestones, and overall construction quality.
• Lead jobsite meetings, coordinate inspections, resolve field issues, and address potential schedule delays.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, schedule updates, and field communication.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Maintain safety, quality, documentation, and schedule control across active jobsites.
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or similar field leadership role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, jobsite operations, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Strong knowledge of jobsite safety practices, building codes, inspections, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail or commercial construction environment.
• Willingness to travel locally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail construction experience or experience with fast-paced commercial construction projects.
• Proficiency with construction project management or scheduling software.
• Experience managing high-profile retail, tenant improvement, ground-up, or remodel projects.
• Strong track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality.
