Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead retail builds from concept to completion in the Tampa area. You will drive project plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and manage budgets to ensure client satisfaction and on‑time delivery.

The role requires 4–6 years of PM experience in real estate or construction, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Projects and Bluebeam. Domestic travel for site visits and meetings will be expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in project management, preferably in real estate or construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Projects and Bluebeam.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams to high performance.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with multitasking ability.
• Willingness to travel for meetings and site visits; authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead retail construction projects from inception to completion within timelines and budgets.
• Support delivery of challenging retail construction projects for a financial services client.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and motivate project teams and foster collaboration.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and track project progress.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Track project finances and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Provide accurate cost forecasts.
• Implement quality control measures to meet project and client standards.
• Identify process enhancements and implement innovative project management practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
