Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction initiatives. You will oversee teams across multiple projects and geographies, ensuring safety, financial performance, and client satisfaction from project kickoff to closeout.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor managers, manage complex schedules, and coordinate subcontractor activities while driving energy-saving and efficiency goals.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of verifiable experience in LARGE ($20M+) commercial construction
• 4-year degree in Construction Management or related field and field experience in core markets
• Design-build experience is a plus
• Leadership skills and ability to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others
• Willingness to travel 5–10% to job sites and office locations

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams across potentially multiple projects and geographies
• Champion project safety and risk management
• Mentor and train Project Managers and Superintendents
• Manage project financials and report to leadership
• Serve as the key client liaison and point of contact
• Coordinate project schedules and subcontract/purchase order exhibits
• Monitor change management and progress billings
• Ensure monthly reporting and conduct project kickoff/lead meetings
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and owners
