Lush Handmade Cosmetics North America seeks a Retail Construction Project Manager to lead shop fit outs, refits, and closures across the US and Canada. You will manage capex, schedules, and collaboration with Retailers, SSP, Real Estate, and Finance to ensure timely, high-quality retail execution.

The role requires 5+ years in retail construction and project delivery, strong budgeting and communication skills, and the ability to travel frequently for North American projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in retail construction and project management including budgets
• Demonstrated experience in a project lead role
• Demonstrated knowledge of carpentry and millwork a asset
• Strong budget analysis and management skills
• Experience in phased construction projects in newly opened and existing retail stores
• Practical hands-on experience in the management of the design and construction process
• Ability to develop relationships and leverage business partners to complete tasks
• Ability to multitask and deal with competing priorities
• Understanding of retail design and in-house skill set
• Ability to interpret MEP plans, architectural plans and structural plans
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work hard and calmly under pressure to achieve deadlines
• Flexibility to work extra hours as needed
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative and creative work environment
• Team player with strong collaboration skills

Responsabilités

• Providing support to the North American SSP and Construction team including project management and organization of retail shop fit outs
• Leading the project management and organization of new shop construction, refits, refreshes, closures and store maintenance
• Managing capex, estimates, actuals and capex forecasts
• Ensuring project schedules are planned and executed with Retailers, SSP, Real Estate leasing and finance
• Maintaining and developing project status and capex reports
• Interpreting construction information and assisting the retail team
• Providing hands-on installation during openings, refits, refreshes and closures
• Improving retail support with forward-looking insights
• Streamlining reporting for external and internal users
• Collaborating with Retailers, Shop and Space Planning, Property/Leasing and Finance
• Keeping up-to-date knowledge of products, design methods and merchandising for sales
• Partnering with SSP designers to deliver projects
• Delivering excellent customer service experience
• Performing other duties as required
