Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead end-to-end Retail store construction from design to opening. You will drive schedules, budgets, risk management, and vendor contracts while aligning with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality retail experiences.

The role requires extensive multi-project construction expertise, knowledge of civil/structural/electrical/mechanical systems, and a willingness to travel up to 50% to Meta Retail sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years of experience in construction project management, including planning, budgeting, and delivery.
• Multi-Project experience in large scale construction management, mission critical, infrastructure, and/or retail construction.
• General knowledge of civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of capital budget management and contract administration.
• Negotiation skills and experience providing solutions to problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction, commissioning, and turnover of a Retail Store.
• Manage the budget associated with the project.
• Negotiate vendor and contractor contracts and purchase orders as needed.
• Coordinate needs and asks with the Procurement/Sourcing group(s) to support the needs of the Project.
• Support the pre-construction efforts for upcoming projects.
• Promote prefabrication strategies.
