Job summary

BRIXMOR PROPERTY GROUP seeks a hands-on Project Manager to lead a portfolio of retail development and redevelopment projects from Orlando, FL and beyond. You will oversee tenant improvements, capital upgrades, and select ground-up work across occupied centers, coordinating with national retailers, architects, and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget openings.

You will manage planning, budgeting, scheduling, and negotiations, with regular travel throughout the region.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience in commercial retail construction or tenant improvements.
• Experience managing multiple projects in owner/developer/retail settings.
• Strong understanding of store openings, landlord work, and coordination with retailers.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of retail construction projects.
• Serve as primary construction partner for tenants from lease through store opening.
• Coordinate with retailers to support project delivery and store openings.
• Review lease exhibits and provide budgeting/constructability input during lease negotiations.
• Oversee bid solicitation, contractor selection, and contract negotiations.
