Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation in Indianapolis seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple retail construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring safety and quality across fast-track programs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction with PM responsibilities and a track record delivering retail projects, including renovations, tenant improvements, or ground-up

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including PM responsibilities.
• Experience delivering retail construction projects (ground-up, remodels, tenant improvements).
• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage retail construction projects from planning to closeout.
• Oversee concurrent projects, coordinating schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor performance.
• Collaborate with Superintendents and field teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Lead subcontractor bidding, scope reviews, and buyout; procure long-lead materials.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, change orders, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, vendors, and subs to resolve design issues.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, documentation, and contract administration.
• Oversee work in occupied retail environments with phased execution.
• Conduct regular meetings, monitor progress, and address delays and cost impacts.
