Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead retail and commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of PM experience, strong knowledge of schedules, budgets, and coordination of subcontractors, with proficiency in Procore or Bluebeam and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Required: Retail or commercial construction project experience.
• GC/General Contractor experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, contracts, scheduling, and budgets.
• Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage retail and commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and field personnel.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contracts.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, billing, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with owners and stakeholders.
• Identify potential project issues and develop solutions to keep projects on schedule.
• Work closely with the Superintendent and field team.
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Manage punch list and final project closeout.
