Job summary

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a commercial real estate organization, seeks a Commercial Property Manager to oversee daily operations of multiple retail properties in Southeast Michigan.

The ideal candidate will coordinate tenant billing, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely maintenance while maintaining accurate records and reporting to ownership.

Excellent communication and proficiency with Yardi or similar PM software are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial property management or related fields.
• Experience coordinating vendors, repairs, or maintenance services.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with property management software.
• Ability to conduct regular site visits in Southeast Michigan.

Job Duties

• Manage day-to-day operations for multiple commercial retail properties
• Serve as the primary contact for commercial tenants, vendors, suppliers, and contractors
• Coordinate tenant billing, service requests, repairs, and maintenance activity
• Conduct regular site visits to evaluate property conditions and operational needs
• Monitor maintenance projects and follow through to ensure timely completion
• Maintain accurate property records, documentation, and operational updates
• Utilize property management software to manage property and financial information
• Communicate regularly with ownership regarding property status, issues, and upcoming needs

Skills & Experience

Required

• Previous experience in commercial property management, facilities management, construction coordination, operations, customer service, or a related field
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, repairs, maintenance requests, or property-related services
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Experience using email, calendars, and standard office technology
• Ability to conduct regular site visits throughout Southeast Michigan
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Commercial property management experience
• Experience supporting tenant billing or property-related financial documentation
• Yardi experience or experience with similar property management software
• Experience managing multiple properties, locations, or operational priorities
