Job summary

Google Albany is seeking a Customer Engineer for Retail to collaborate with customers, partners, and product teams. You will shape customer experiences with Google Cloud through technical engagement, demonstrations, and tailored integration strategies in retail environments.

Ideal candidates have cloud experience, strong knowledge of databases, and a proven ability to present effectively to technical and business audiences. This is a full‑time, on‑site role in Albany, USA.

Qualifications

6 years of experience in cloud computing and a customer-facing environment.
Experience with database performance optimization and data management.
Experience delivering technical presentations and live demonstrations of database products.
Knowledge of disaster recovery and data backup techniques.
Understanding of Retail technology solutions and how to apply them in customer environments.

Responsibilities

Identify and qualify business opportunities, address technical objections, and plan corrective actions.
Lead technical engagements with customers, including product briefings and proof-of-concept work.
Demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer or partner environments.
Recommend integration strategies and architectures that enable effective use of Google Cloud.
