Job summary

Google Cloud Customer Engineer in New York works with clients to drive adoption of Google Cloud, helping simplify, port, and enable collaborative cloud solutions across their organizations.

You will diagnose blockers, manage client relationships, lead product and solution briefings, and coordinate resources while guiding modernization and end-to-end architectures. Frequent on-site client meetings and workshops are expected.

Qualifications

• Four-year certification or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least two years in a technical specialist, pre-sales engineer, project manager, or client-facing role.
• Experience in cloud migration, data center relocation, disaster recovery, virtualization, application or server assessment, or release.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Identify business value opportunities, diagnose blockers, and develop methods to address technical gaps.
• Manage client relationships, oversee product/solution briefings, run concept-validation workshops, and coordinate resources.
• Demonstrate and model Google Cloud solutions, assess legacy environments, and provide prioritization for modernization.
• Propose integration approaches, environments, and architectures for end-to-end Google Cloud solutions.
• Attend client sites, meetings, and related events as required.
