Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Stocking Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain well-stocked shelves. The role emphasizes efficient product placement, backroom organization, and a friendly store presence.

You will stock groceries, move items from pallets to shelves, manage backstock and cardboard disposal, and help keep the store clean and safe while assisting teammates to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Team-oriented with the ability to support shared goals.
• Willing to work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
