Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and the shopping experience is outstanding. You will handle stocking, backroom duties and basic merchandising while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

You will work in a fast-paced team setting, interact with customers as needed, and support leadership to complete tasks on time. Overnight shifts are available to prepare the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Entry level retail role focused on stocking, service and merchandising.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and follow store procedures.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back rooms.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
